M24 Chaffee Posted September 20, 2016 Share #1 Posted September 20, 2016 I thought I'd share this. Some of you may have seen this already. I just watched it last night. With writers and historians having access to some unseen records and accounts, much of the information about US tanks and tank combat in WWII is being corrected. Recent books and interviews by Zaloga and Yeidi include many new findings. Now my wife will have to listen to me correct much of what I thought I knew! Lol Regards, Frank

Garandomatic Posted September 20, 2016 Share #4 Posted September 20, 2016 I made my 20th century conflict class watch that video last year! I knew i was right to like the Sherman way back when i was 4! Zaloga's Armored Champion was a good read. Breaks down the war into periods and rates the tanks available in each period, and gives a fair treatment to each country's tank development as well.
