Fake Nazi Train Pass Stamper made by 8th Air Force? OSS?

So I picked up this wooden ink block stamper from the estate of an 8th Air Force Photo Lab Tech, who served during WWII.

I am wondering if this is a “Fake” Official German Railway Stamper made by the allies to aid in the escape of downed airman? The stamp creates a travel pass entitling the bearing to travel on official government business via the railway! Being a photo lab tech, he had the equipment to make fake IDs and Documents! Would be very useful item!

Or it could just be a legit German stamper! I have never seen one like this before!

Anyone else? Comments?

to me it looks like an original printing block.

it would be useless without the individual unit stamp, so I believe this is the master document that would be printed "en masse" and used/stamped/filled in as needed.

I will lock the thread. The Spoils of War section has the intent to feature the US participant more than the foreign item.A background story is needed...not a section to Identify Foreign relics.Members can pm responses...if it's proven to be US...I will reopen.
