Very nice examples.I like how the night vision green is added to the Knights visor and the Hawks eye.

The real old 2-1Avn, activated as Cobra AHB unit in 1988, switch to an Apache unit a year later and arrived Katterbach AHP mid 1990

looking allways for Germany based US Army Aviation unit patches/history

Actually the 334th has a storied history. They were in vietnam long before the move to Germany. Here is my Dads patch from vietnam.

It's been awhile since I've updated this thread. Here is a piece for the Utah National Guards' C Company 1-211th,the Corsairs. They fly Attack Reconnaissance missions in their Apache Helicopters.

I believe this patch is for their second Afghan deployment,in 2012.Love the motto"Death on Call".

Here is their official unit designation:

Attack Reconnaissance Company Charlie

(C/1-211th AVN (AR))

No plastic backing on this patch.

Here is a 129th Aviation Company,Assault Helicopter patch.Looks US made and worn.I'm guessing that "Caveman" is a callsign?

I sent an email to the 129th website asking about the "Caveman",but never received an answer.

Hopefully someone here will be able to tell me what it means.

AF CSAR omitted. I figured these would be nice to have here as reference for anyone that can ID the time period they were used for your files.

Check post 53 for another Task Force Odin style patch

Stunning patch!

Made a mistake, wrong picture inserted. If anyone knows how to edit out improper images, let it be known.

Correct image here, 171st Inf Bde Avn Section, Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
