First Team Posted August 27, 2016 Share #1 Posted August 27, 2016 Here's a great photo to share. I'll be a Guardian on the September Honor Flight to Washington DC for this veteran of WWII and Korean War. He served in Allied Naval Forces aboard the Attack Transport USS Pickaway (APA-222) and Landing Ship Dock USS Lindenwald (LSD-6). Discharged after the war and later joined the US Army during Korean War where he served in Provost (Military police). Lastly, served as a military advisor late 50s and early 60s in both Vietnam and Iran. Quite a resume.
