easterneagle87 Posted August 19, 2016 Share #1 Posted August 19, 2016 Second time I saw this tracked vehicle. Once when it was headed south on I-5 from maybe the Redding, CA area and then several days later I see it a the Dunigan, CA Pilot gas station. Easier to take photos when it's standing still. Not a Bradley chassis, Funky turret. Doesn't fit the old M113. Help ID'ing it

earlymb Posted August 19, 2016 Share #4 Posted August 19, 2016 Probably an ex-Dutch army YPR. They were phased out recently and only the Military Police and Engineers still have some examples
easterneagle87 Posted August 21, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted August 21, 2016 Would make sense as Redding has an Engineering unit. Sacramento has an MP unit.
Survival Posted August 21, 2016 Share #6 Posted August 21, 2016 They had the military vehicle convention in Pleasenton last week. Maybe coming and going from there
earlymb Posted August 21, 2016 Share #7 Posted August 21, 2016 Would make sense as Redding has an Engineering unit. Sacramento has an MP unit. I mean in the Dutch military. I'm not sure if the US military ever used these.

gwb123 Posted August 25, 2016 Share #9 Posted August 25, 2016 Now that we have this identified as a Dutch vehicle, and not US, time to close the thread. Please feel free to continue discussing through Private Messaging.
