mvmhm Posted August 16, 2016 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2016 Got a nice grouping in today from an Ohioan who served in the 97th Infantry Division in Europe, and after the German surrender was sent to Japan as part of the 1st Cavalry Division. The family kept a Japanese sword and rifle and a couple Japanese magazines. First is a roughly 2 X 2 foot Japanese flag...silk, with the meatball having bled out..... The Luger is a mix of parts...a 1921 dated barrel and a byf marked receiver....they have a holster somewhere but I don't know which gun it goes to.
