Charlie Flick Posted April 15, 2017 Share #29 Posted April 15, 2017 Hey Salvage Sailor: I really admire your collection there. Great stuff. I have a couple of the same ones, plus a few others I will post below. I look for all of the services' Shooting Team patches but most of what I have are Army and Air Force, with NG and Reserve Teams as well. The Navy stuff seems to be pretty scarce. I have one USCG Team Patch but won't post it since this is a Navy thread. Here are a couple of mine: An Atlantic Fleet Championships patch like your example at Post #14 above, except mine is dated 1963. Not a Team Patch but a competition that was held at the Navy facility in Memphis, TN, date unknown to me. And finally a colorful, but a little grungy, competition patch for the Fiesta of Five Flags held at Pensacola in 1961 on the 50th Anniversary of Naval Aviation. (I'll have to get that one cleaned up.) Regards, Charlie
Salvage Sailor Posted April 15, 2017 Author Share #30 Posted April 15, 2017 Aloha Charlie, Feel free to sneak in the USCG patch, I've slipped in some USMC already as there are no similar topics on the Army, Air Force and USMC patch boards (why is that fellas? Time to start up some topics for us to add them in one place.)
