After Korea this veteran had assignments at Ft Bliss and a tour in Vietnam from June 1963 - July 1966. He served as an advisor in Phu- Cat.

In 1968 he transitioned to the Air Defense Artillery. I believe he was in the first group of field grade officers to make the transition to the Air Defense Artillery.

Very nice! The class of 49 lost thirty members in Korea alone. Great paper and photos among other items, thanks for sharing.

My father is / was Earl J. Lochhead; I couldn't be more proud to this day of his accomplishments. He not only was a hero to me but my best friend.....and I still break-down every time I read this post. My father was truly a West Pointer, in that, believing in truth, duty & honor was the way he lived his life. He was a professional soldier that found time to be a loving DAD.

The grouping you see is a small part of the story and meant to keep his memory alive for another generation. I am grateful to WahooMan for his work and diligence in putting this together. He too is special in many ways and continues to amaze me with his brilliance.
