I have never had it torn clear down.It works for my level of intrest and collecting.

Hope this will help Phantomfixer when hes looking over thecarbine hes getting.

 

Oh yeah, it would be great to do a side-by-side on those two.

Doyler, and the rest...thanks for all this info...I need to get the carbine in my hands for good pics...maybe this weekend...would be nice to upgrade from my carbine to this one...

You will do good picking up this carbine, if the rear sight dove tail area has not been re staked for an adjustable sight ( I'm sure it hasn't )you will have an early top notch original WWII rifle.

 

 

Here are my two Inlands both all original and dated 1-43

Thanks for the info guys and pics...Hopefully, this did not get out of my price range...I don't want to beat him up...or rip him off...and I think he is seeing $$$$ in his eyes after we spoke last about it...

 

will keep you posted...now if it were a M1911 or A1 that would be different...
