I'm trying to re-create my dad's service from his DD214. Is there any kind of reference for Military Occupation Specialty (MOS)

codes and their meanings over the years? I know they've changed several times. I'm particularly interested in the 4-number codes

for officers in the 1940s, 50s and 60s. Thanks.

I would suggest you post a picture of his DD214. You can cover his name, address and serial number for privacy. Some our forum members are very knowledgeable about DD214's but it makes it much easier to decipher them when you can see the actually document. I'm not sure who might have an old Military Occupation Specialty list, lists like that seem to be hard to find. I guess no one thought to collect them.
