USAF PATCH RELATED

I just acquired these two letters and the sample patches that were mailed with them. I thought other USAF patch collectors might found them interesting. I would really like to buy patches at these prices today. The letter states that you can use the 1000 Hour patch with the F 101, F 102, and F 106. I have only actually ever seen it used with the F 101 Voodoo patch. It is the hardest of these patches to find today. They are all made on twill. It gives the collector a look at how the different flying organization would have ordered their patches. Being a former ADC pilot I like the fact that they were mailed to a Air Defense Fight Wing. Very cool. I have a patch list from NORD, I think late 70's.I ordered some patches from them, AF and ARMY.I'll have to see if I can find it.

Outstanding! Documents like these are really important to our hobby. I wish that there was a file storage ability for this site that can store images that are of historic nature. MANY thanks for sharing.
