Thor996 Posted July 14, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 14, 2016 Don't know, but will assume, that this is correct in being under the heading "trench art" - this letter was sent home by William Alexander 3rd ESB 263rd Med Battalion Co A- when he first got to the Philippines
Thor996 Posted July 14, 2016 Author Share #2 Posted July 14, 2016 the letter: I try not to buy artwork like this unless it comes with the cover and unless it is part of a larger group. There were a few letters he illustrated in the pile of over 300 letters he sent home from the day he entered basic until his discharge- all the artwork being out of the overseas pile, however. If any are interested I'll post a couple more.
