I was amazed to see in Utah Beach what seems to be remnants of anti tank wall

If you drive further North, you will see in Quineville the anti tank wall intact!

I found even more remnants last week-end just behind the Utah Beach DDAY museum

And the sea is taking its toll against the beach…you can clealy observe this from the space between the AT wall and the sand dune at low tide.

In 50 years from here, we will celebrate the UTAH Beach landing at Sainte-Marie du Mont, several kms from "La Madeleine".

Have a nice 75thanniversary.

For the sake of history...

The picture shows men of the 9th USID 39th reg ( note the shoulder patch on the right GI's sleeve)

The 9th USID landed on Utah Beach on Saturday Morning 10th of June when this picture was taken, shorly after they reached the wall.

Please, also note the folding stock of a M1A1 Carbine on the wall.
