In 50 years from here, we will celebrate the UTAH Beach landing at Sainte-Marie du Mont, several kms from "La Madeleine". Have a nice 75thanniversary. Teufelhund

The picture shows men of the 9th USID 39th reg ( note the shoulder patch on the right GI's sleeve) The 9th USID landed on Utah Beach on Saturday Morning 10th of June when this picture was taken, shorly after they reached the wall. Please, also note the folding stock of a M1A1 Carbine on the wall. T
