solcarlus Posted September 17, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2008 hello. This monument "De la Lorraine aux Etat Unis" was erected to commemorate the liberation of this part of the Saint Mihiel salient sptembre in 1918 by U.S. troops. It was restored by public authorities. Saturday September 13, a ceremony was held to celebrate this event. In addition to the civil and military authorities of both countries, there was the presence of the granddaughter of Patton. Unfortunately, I missed the pictures I present to you the two vehicles set up to the ceremony. It rained bucket. regards solcarlus.
