TLeo Posted July 7, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 7, 2016 Would the SV-2 survival vest and LPU-23 life preserver be correct for a mid 90's USMC Prowler crewman? Or, would the SV-2b also work? I'm about to venture into some new territory by possibly putting together a full display. I have the flight helmet, torso harness and csu15 G-suit all from the same aviator who was ECMO on Prowlers. I figure the next step would be the vest and flotation device and then I will worry about possibly adding the vest contents.
northcoastaero Posted July 7, 2016 Share #2 Posted July 7, 2016 For a mid 1990s USMC EA-6B Prowler ECMO, I would use the sage green SV-2B survival vest along with the LPU-23B/P or LPU-23C/P life preserver unit with printed yellow warnings instead of the earlier black and white glue on warnings. The flare and dye pouches for the LPU were probably not used at this time. Hope this helps.
