ram957 Posted June 30, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 30, 2016 I'm not sure where to post this but I figure that since it's a piece of an aircraft this might be the place..Mods if there is somewhere else where it is more appropriate please move it. this slice of propeller is 10 1/2" long ans 1 1/4 " at its thickest area and seems to be made of aluminum. I think it may be a piece of a Hamilton Standard propeller, possibly off of a B-17 ? I have found very little about Arthur Harold Meyer but I will keep digging ! Here is his enlistment info: Here is his high school picture. He was in the Smith-Cotton High School (Sedalia, Missouri) Class of 1936: That is the coolest souvenir! I really enjoyed seeing it! Where did you find this novelty?
