bryang Posted June 30, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 30, 2016 I picked this up today at a Goodwill - one in which large bins are rolled out onto the floor for customers to dig through, for which we are charged by the pound. I often find interesting items here. This stuffed military aircraft caught my eye and I was about to walk away from it, when I realized that this was made into the likeness of an F4 Phantom jet. Also it is personalized, with a name embridered on each side below the cockpit. Although somewhat crudely made, I found this to be quite an interesting item. Has anyone else here seen anything similar to this? Any chance that this sort of item was made overseas? My wife is a huge fabric/quilting/sewing fan, and seemed to feel that the fabric and stuffing material was either '60's - '70's. I'd love to get some feedback on this thing. I couldn't let this end up in a dumpster, and so brought it home (at $.76 a pound)! Bryan
firefighter Posted June 30, 2016 Share #2 Posted June 30, 2016 Awesome!! Looks just like the one I had when I was stationed at Clark AB, PI. It's was either stolen or just didn't get packed when I left. The red stripe on the tail was for the 90th TFS.
