willysmb44 Posted June 28, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 28, 2016 http://tank-photographs.s3-website-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/german-tiger-1-tank-replica.html This Tiger was built for a movie, and for the life of me I can't recall the title. I'd read about in a magazine years ago, I think it was called, "______'s circus" but can't be 100% sure and don't recall the name in the title. Does anyone recall this and more importantly, is the movie itself online anywhere?

willysmb44 Posted June 28, 2016 Author Share #4 Posted June 28, 2016 The movie that was made for was within the last 10 years or so, I think it was filmed in the UK and might have been a TV movie or a pilot episode for a series that never continued. But I don't know this for certain.
manayunkman Posted June 28, 2016 Share #5 Posted June 28, 2016 I think that the owner of this tank, and several other German vehicles, is from Frederick, Md. He is known for his excellent Civil War cannons that he builds and sells. There was a heavy equipment refurbisher on Pa. Rt.15 just south of Dillsburg that had his yard full of German vehicles and landing craft back in 2008 or 9. In the middle of the group was a tiger tank. It was either this one or one from Kelly's Heroes. There was also a late war German halftrack and several other pieces.

BOLO Posted July 18, 2016 Share #11 Posted July 18, 2016 the one used on Kelly's Heroes looked like it was made of wood & fiberglass for the dummy top, I wonder if the newer replica is a mock up made from wood & fiber glas to make the hull? or was it made of steel?
