I'm looking for any information and possibly a picture of the Belle of Texas. My father was Reginald Spence and was copilot with Charles Pratte.

There is a TEXAS BELLE B17 43-38130 508 BS, 351 BG

I'm looking for Belle of Texas B24. It did an emergency landing using prachutes on the island of Tarawa.

Here is narrative of the event from "One Damned Island After Another" by Clive Howard and Joe Whitley -

The narrative refers to the name "Texas Belle" but it is clear that is in error. The publication is available on line through the 'Internet Archive' library.
