Johnny Signor Posted June 18, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 18, 2016 The first image of the 3 patches together are of WW2 Navy "VB-16"(Bombing 16) , an aviation archeologist recently found the submerged crash site of a unit SBD and asked me to make the patches of which two will go to one of each relative of the downed SBD , the other the researcher will keep , the rest went to various relatives also of veterans of the units , one to a collector , enjoy !!!!! 306th Bombardment Group,VB-16 ,322nd Bombardment Group, enjoy !!!!!!!!!!!!! Johnny Signor Posted June 18, 2016 Author Share #4 Posted June 18, 2016 Thanks much hardheaded , yes , they are all very happy , one man some years ago called after he received his patch and was nearly in tears as it meant so much to have his Squadron patch again , he had lost his original after the war , it's an honor to know that my work means so much to them .
