Another show in the books! Always a great time, even with mother nature not cooperating 100%, although we did luck out with not as much rain as they were predicting. Big bummer though, was the P-38 and Bf-109 being no shows, along with 4 or 5 other aircraft. The P-38 apparently had the pilot get sick and there was no backup pilot ready to bring it, and not sure about the 109. The Mosquito though did make the trip, along with a Spitfire from MAM in Virginia Beach, but the Spitfire only flew on Friday. Here's some photos I took.

Not as sharp as I would of liked it, but I enjoyed the composition of this shot with Reading's famous Pagoda in the background with the P-51 on final for landing

Some of our encampment. We do an Army 27th IR, 25th ID impression on Guadalcanal, Christmas time 1943. I can't tell you how many people come into our camp and automatically say, Oh cool, Marines! Ugh.

Thank you everyone for the kind words and taking a look.

Dave, we saw so many reeanctors pull out late Saturday early Sunday. By about 1 pm on Sunday, I swear half of them were gone. Of course we lucked out with no rain....untill literally 20 min left of our tear down when we got destroyed by that storm that came through. It hit the airport around 4:30-5 I think. The rain was slapping me so hard in the face it hurt!

Great pictures. I was there all day on Friday. The weather was lousy but it could have been worse. We still had a great time as usual. Here's a picture I took of a WWII 101st Airborne vet in the passenger seat of a Jeep. He was pretty popular with the ladies.
