Just to clear this confusion up. The smaller Navy/USMC cases never have a place for the Lapel pin at the top. The lapels just came in the case in a wax paper without a place to stick it. The other medal cases are all Army type and have a spot for a Lapel pin.

Kind of like this...

The Navy Cross set was part of my collection for a while. The smaller Navy and Marine Corps cases did not have a place for the lapel pis, so it was usually attached to 2x2 inch piece of white cardboard, and put in a clear envelope, then just stuck in the case.

I'm still looking for a lapel pin to complete this set. Please let me know if you got one for sale or know where I can find one.

Thank you

Jumpin Jack

I endorse everything previously said rather than being redundant. It is very nice to see all are of the WWII era. Not easily done. Great job. Jack
