MARTINEZ, Luther So far In WWII I found two Luther Martinez's, one was in the 77th Infantry Division Co I 306th Infantry, and the other in the 103rd Infantry Division, he could be one of them, or they could be one and the same, here with him being first in the 77th Div and then transferred out and over to the 103rd Div at one point. McDade had a long career, but unfortunately he's best remembered as the CO of the 2nd Battalion 7th Cavalry 1st Cavalry Division during the debacle at the Battle of LZ Albany in November 1965.
