173. McQUERRY, Charles L.

Can't find anything so far on his WWII, Korean War service, but I got indications McQuerry served in the 5th Battalion 7th Cavaly in Vietnam, and yes he turns up in their roster as the Battalion Command Sergeant Major 1968-69.

And here he is with his 3rd Award CIB Vet cap on at some kind of 5th of the 7th Cav or 1st Cav Div get together some time in 2010, I'm imagining he as of Nov 2017 is still marching around with us, as I seen no Obit.

182. MONTEZDEOCA, Manuel V

This item here on him was posted by Cobra 6 Actual Post #1501

http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/379-the-combat-infantryman-badge/page-61

Unfortunately no other info.

A great photo find handed to me from two members, rd12 via Cobra Actual 6 who PMed me this photo of Montezdeoca, our thanks to rd12 for having this photo to share, and Cobra Actual 6 who sent me it.

This photo is from sometime in the mid to late 50s, when Montezdeoca was in the 9th Infantry Division as we see, the DI looks like the 60th Infantry. Photo could be at Carson or West Germany, or back at Carson depending on the date. There's also indications that he also served in the 2nd Infantry Division's 1st Battle Group 23rd Infantry in Alaska in 1962. Would welcome any other info on his wartime units from WWII, Korea, Vietnam.
