Nist was a West Point Grad, class of 1951? Did he serve as an enlisted man in WWII. Seems so, in the 77th Infantry Division.

https://books.google.com/books?id=EokgAAAAMAAJ&pg=PA536&lpg=PA536&dq=Cecil+W.+Nist,Jr.&source=bl&ots=ESeOcFJBUf&sig=YeJuNIZz2U3C5TfIsjyo-A1I3Ik&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwimrOySqdvXAhUKPN8KHZdKDwc4ChDoAQgyMAM#v=onepage&q=Cecil%20W.%20Nist%2CJr.&f=false

And this is his Father, also a West Pointer. note he was in the 77th Infantry Division as well for a spell in WWII, probably a Battalion Commander (Says Regimental), Nist Senior also commanded the 7th Cavalry 1st Cavalry Division in the Pusan Perimeter.

Nist Jr was in the 23rd Infantry, 2nd Infantry Division in Korea, belieave GO below is for a award of the Bronze Star.

Can't find much on Nist Jr in Vietnam, he was some kind of staff officer in 1971, on a second tour we should think.

post-34986-0-57514700-1512007355.jpg

Parsons is listed in the roster of the 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment in WWII, Co G, and as a Senior rather then a Junior.

Can't find much after that, other then he appeers to have been wounded in Vietnam.

THE PRESIDENT pointedlv observed that "some doubt the wisdom of any action" in Viet Nam. Then he ... TOURING WALTER Reed Army Hospital, the President saw row after row of wounded veterans, officers and enlisted men, most of them injured in Viet Nam. ... Boyd D. Parsons Sr., 43 years old, Poca, W. And passed in 1995.

204. PEDROZA, Leo R

From his obituary we see he was in from 1938 to 1959, perhaps the 1959 date is in error, as if he was in Vietnam as a MAAG, not sure he would of been awarded that third CIB.

Can not find units in WWII (He was awarded a SS) or Vietnam

He was in the 2nd Infantry Division, wounded, Master Sergeant.

210. PIOTRZKWSKI, J. L.

Joseph L. Piotrzkwski, for some reason his nickname was Pete.

Was able to find some items.

An enlisted man in WWII, October 1944, became a officer in 1952, uncertain if he seen action in Korea as an officer or an enlistedman.

Unknown what units he was in in WWII or Korea. in Vietnam 101st Abn Div (AM) 1st Battalion 501st Infantry CO, he may have also done either an earlier tour (173rd Abn Bde???) or a later one, uncertain.

After WWII and before Korea, Piotrzkwski was a New York National Guardsman in the Buffalo area's 174th Infantry, 27th Infantry Division, a Sergeant First Class, see page 135 of this PDF, Report of the Adjutant General New York National Guard 1949.

https://dmna.ny.gov/historic/research/AG_Reports/AG_Report_1949.pdf

Piotrzkwski in 1962 and later in 1972.

At one point, 1973-74 he was G1 of XVIII Abn Corps, Fort Bragg North Carolina.

211. PLASS, Frank C.

Enlisted 29th Infantry Fort Benning 1938 and served 33 years. Uncertain though on his WWII unit or units, say Aleutian Islands, Southern France, The Bulge, Czechoslovakia.

But he was in the 1st Cavalry Division, 8th Cavalry in Korea War. I think he may have been in the Cav in Vietnam too.
