Justin Posted June 13, 2016 Share #26 Posted June 13, 2016 I remember reading somewhere that second ID troops were known for scratching off their unit insignia. I can't remember where I read it but I do remember that it was the second ID. Otherwise this is a great looking helmet. Could be, I've read it was common practice for the 28th. Gtilk8455 Posted June 13, 2016 Share #29 Posted June 13, 2016 Could be, I've read it was common practice for the 28th. It's a shame too because the 28th is my favorite unit and their helmets are so hard to find with the insignia still intact
