The chipping on the paint, the patina around the rim, the glossy paint, the wear around the dome, is a nearly a dead on match to my WW2 3-panel medic helmet that was overpainted after WW2. It would be extremely hard to fake a helmet to this state, most fakers rely heavily on sandpaper and aged washings which I don't see on this helmet.
