AndyUSMC Posted June 3, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 3, 2016 A2 jacket from the 339th FS. Latest find from the estate of a WW2 veteran He told me that his dad was in the 339th when they shot down Admiral Yamamoto. This is a size 42 made by I Spiewak & Sons. JDK Posted June 3, 2016 Share #8 Posted June 3, 2016 Very nice find. I used to have a group history. I will check and see if I still have it and if I can dig anything up on him. On a side note,. Spiewak A-2s always seem to have that finish wear on the shoulders and arms. For some reason their leather tanning process didn't stand up as well as other makers.
