Dakota Posted May 30, 2016 #1 Posted May 30, 2016 Hit up the Flea Market yesterday and was able to acquire some goodies. Picked up the FORSCOM DUI Pair, and then I have yet to identify the other set, I got two results on eBay of a "Military Academy 1833" and "Drill Instructor DUI" I'm assuming they have to be either a School or a Training Unit. I picked up this flag from a buddy of mine, he got it from an auction and supposedly it was only used once. It's fairly mint besides the fact it being dirty, pictured as well is the stamp I found on the flag. Thanks D
Dakota Posted May 30, 2016 Author #2 Posted May 30, 2016 The DUI was identified as the Peekskill Military Academy, NY which was established in 1833, and closed in 1968. Their full motto was "Stand firm as an Oak. Quit you like men." D
MBS Posted May 30, 2016 #3 Posted May 30, 2016 Nice finds D. The Peekskill Military Academy appears to be ahead of its time as it was admitting males and females pre 1841. Brent
