MattStone Posted May 25, 2016 Share #1 Posted May 25, 2016 Hello, Here is a picture of some of my pacific theater canteens. One of my favorites is the 1942 mounted canteen set in back, named to a Marine. There is also one in back, An Army canteen cover dated 1940. On the inside of the ear is says 'USNR', and a faint name, Cannot read it.

BagmanL6 Posted May 26, 2016 Share #5 Posted May 26, 2016 What a great collection. I'm sure it took a good deal of time and focus. I'm still searching for my first enamel canteen cup.

MattStone Posted May 27, 2016 Author Share #7 Posted May 27, 2016 Wow! What's the name on the mounted set? it is R.E. Rutledge i believe. It came with a pair of USMC leggings that are stained, loos like blood, as it is hard and crispy. I cant find his record.
