9th Infantry Division 60th Infantry Regiment "Go Devils"

 

I assume this is an Occupation DUI, but I've found none like this in my references. Any illustrations of similar crests would be appreciated. Thanks for looking. Ed

This is an unauthorized DI for the 3rd Brigade 9th Infantry Division from the late Vietnam War, indeed Stanton's Order of Battle Vietnam shows this DI for the brigade. This one of yours I expect is Japanese made. The 9th Div leaves RVN in August 1969, but it leaves behind it's 3rd Brigade, the 3rd Bde 9th Inf Div acts separately till October 1970. The Brigade was called the GO DEVIL Brigade.
