Korean War VF-831 Patch, Japanese Made

I just picked up this beautiful patch for VF-831:

The squadron was assigned to the USS Antietam -- part of Task Force 77 -- off the coast of Korea between November 1951 and March 1952. This appears to be a period Japanese made patch from that deployment.

I wonder how many different Task Force 77 patches there are? Would make for a nice collection. All I have seen thus far are for ships. This is the first fighter squadron I've seen.

Very nice patch.

 

My grandfather flew with VF-831 at this time. I have some shots of this patch in wear, here, at the end of this thread.
