On their backs, these pictures are dated from the spring of 1941, and the truck is clearly marked as being from the 151st Field Artillery, which was a Minnesota National Guard unit called to Federal service in February 1941 as part of the 34th Division. With those dates in mind, I believe these were most likely taken at Camp Claiborne, Lousiana. I suspect that their experience in the mud in Louisiana was to serve them well in Italy later. Enjoy.
