Alex Boban Posted May 13, 2016 Share #1 Posted May 13, 2016 Hello, Here is a painted WWII-era US Army Air Force metal disc I picked up a couple weeks ago because I thought it was a cool item. It measures 3 1/2 in diameter and it is a little domed. It seems like it was once nailed to something through the small holes located on the edge. Since it is spelled "US Army Air Force", I do believe it could be a sweetheart item / Home front rather that a US Army issued or contracted items as the Army usually referred to their Air Force branch as the US Army Air Forces during WWII. Any ideas on where this plaque may come from? Thank you for your inputs.
