This is an amazing thing! Your patch is beautiful! We live only an hour and a quarter from Columbus Air Port. I never knew it served as a Naval Air Station. Kind of funny to think the Navy would ever want it, being completely land-locked. That is a fun bit of history and a very cool patch! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Elizabeth , it's one of two designs they used , and it was a very busy base back in the day , WW2 and the 50's :)

I tried to load both images but they're too large , if you want to PM me your e mail I'll send them to you that way .

Johnny that is a beautiful leather patch.

 

I recently acquired a NAS Columbus patch. This one is a different version.

Thanks Chris , your patch is the 'second" design they used for the base , the patch I made was their first design :)
