245th Coast or Field Artillery

I know the 245th Coast Artillery is the rounded design but it is often listed as a field artillery unit. The second has the inner shield more prominent with the same motto. Could this be the F.A. Bn?

IOH:The distinctive unit insignia was originally approved for the 245th Coast Artillery Regiment on 9 July 1925. It was redesignated for the 245th Antiaircraft Artillery Gun Battalion on 12 September 1951. The insignia was redesignated for the 245th Artillery Regiment on 22 March 1962. It was rescinded on 8 July 1976.

I was on the IOH site and it describes the first pictured (rounded one) but nothing on the second which is similar to the coat of arms but without the Half Moon ship on top.

Do you know what the Hallmark is on this one?

Can't say. Saw it for sale on Ebay and missed out on it. Seems similar to the 715th Field Artillery but the motto is different and has a solid border around it. Perhaps a Battalion of one another that was split during WW2.

The info on the second is listed as 254A6 245th AAA Bn NG, NY, from the Asmic catalog Distinctive Insignia CA, AAA, ADA.

There is some confusion over this one as I have seen it listed as 715th AAA, and FA.
