pump 150 Posted April 29, 2016 Share #3 Posted April 29, 2016 These NVG Brackets were originally designed by Norotos in association with ITT. All contracts for production were awarded to ITT through 2006. In 2007 the U.S. Government took over production at two locations in Pennaylvania - Letterkenny Army Depot, marked with the "L", and also the "L" can sometimes be found on the reverse side of the cleat. Tobyhanna Army Depot, marked with the "T", and also "TYAD" can sometimes be found on the reverse side of the cleat. Can also be occasionally seen marked on the front face with a smaller number also..."T1", "T2", etc.
Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted April 29, 2016 Share #4 Posted April 29, 2016 Are the ITT was unmarked? Is this a T1?
pump 150 Posted April 29, 2016 Share #5 Posted April 29, 2016 Yes, all of the ITT contracted have no markings, all are black in color with a rounded head rubber shock absorber on the face. The Tobyhanna and Letterkenny are produced in black, silver, and a bright tan (near gold) and drab tan. They have a flat head rubber shock absorber on the face Yours is a "T1" marked.
