Zirni Posted April 29, 2016 Share #1 Posted April 29, 2016 Hi gentlemen, Here s a tailor made tiger stripe boonie hat i recently got. Made of heavy weight gold pattern tiger material which appears to be recycled from a shirt or pants?? Tan thread is a cotton one and the greenisch lining is made of a shine silky like material which burns with ash residue. From it s construction, grommets and use of material it looks good to me.The color on the material which is covered from light is slightly darker. Boonie is a prety small size like 54-55. Unfortunately never ever seen a similar one before. May be japan made?? Any opinions on it would be appreciated Best Zirni

Zirni Posted April 30, 2016 Author Share #12 Posted April 30, 2016 Hey Owen, thanks for your reply and opinion. Is it the lack of fading under the covert parts, it s construction (e.g.2 panel crown, high of the crown),grommets which makes it crap in your opinion? Thanks a lot Zirni

Andrei Posted April 30, 2016 Share #14 Posted April 30, 2016 I do not like the vent holes/grommets. These are not the ones commonly seen on vietnamese tailor made headgear.
kammo-man Posted April 30, 2016 Share #15 Posted April 30, 2016 It was made yesterday from a good shirt or pants.
Mike Force Posted April 30, 2016 Share #16 Posted April 30, 2016 I like the fact of no signs of synthetic material has been used for the construction but the overall desigen dosen't look like a typical tailor made piece? Would be nothing for my collection.
wxl155 Posted April 30, 2016 Share #17 Posted April 30, 2016 how much did you pay for that? It is still a nice one for your children to wear when fishing. This is my boonie made from some "crappy cloth".
