sgtdorango Posted September 7, 2008 Share #1 Posted September 7, 2008 Hi, I just found these two jump wings, the first one is un marked on back with a white paint drop and is clutch back, I think they may be WWII?....The second is marked KREW G-1 1/20 SIL. FILED and is also clutch back, I think they are Korea-Vietnam? Im sure the Krew and G-1 are a good clue....could someone please edumacate me on these wings, Im really starting to like these badboys!!!!! John Cooper Posted September 9, 2008 Share #3 Posted September 9, 2008 Hi - the from what I can see in the first photo it looks like post WW2 since the pins seemd to be attached electrostatically. Since jump wings are not exactly my area I will bow to some of the experts here as I may be wrong. John
doyler Posted September 9, 2008 Share #4 Posted September 9, 2008 I would also say later wings. The Krew wings are from at the least 1970s.I have an Air Assaut badge with same markings. RON
sgtdorango Posted September 9, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted September 9, 2008 Thanks, yeah the first one really threw me off with the way the pins were mounted and with no markings... ....mike
