hist3891 Posted April 27, 2016 Share #1 Posted April 27, 2016 Hi, Can anyone identify the branch of service that used this color combination? It looks blue-green and maroon to me. Thanks, -hist3891

Allan H. Posted April 27, 2016 Share #3 Posted April 27, 2016 This looks like the maroon and white of the Medical Corps to me. Allan Never under-estimate the power of prayer.
hist3891 Posted April 29, 2016 Author Share #4 Posted April 29, 2016 Allan, Thanks for your feedback. I compared it with a couple other examples and think that you are right. It came with a single identification tag from a sergeant in the 2nd Idaho Infantry. Most of that regiment was transferred to the artillery, but it is possible that the sergeant ended up with the medical corps. It will take more research to determine if the two items really belong together. -hist3891
Too Much WW1 Militaria Posted April 30, 2016 Share #5 Posted April 30, 2016 I agree with Allan. Really beat up, faded/discolored medical corps. John
