bryang Posted April 23, 2016 Share #1 Posted April 23, 2016 Got this from a friend today, who had picked it up at an estate sale. Unfortunately he didn't get the Veteran's name. The kit consists of a belt, canteen, two wound up lengths of cord, an small empty pouch as well as a larger pouch containing a rolled up hammock. The Vet who brought this home marked both sides of the canteen the date and location of where this trophy was taken. I'm told that the canteen is a difficult-to-find item, although I know very little on it. Comments appreciated. Bryan

badash5946 Posted April 23, 2016 Share #4 Posted April 23, 2016 That's a really nice rig! And Yes, the canteen is definitely a more uncommon model. Just a very very nice belt rig and a nice acquisition for you!
USCapturephotos Posted April 23, 2016 Share #5 Posted April 23, 2016 Thanks for sharing pics of this. I have a few Vietnam bring back pieces. Too bad your buddy wasn't able to get the Gi's name with it. Paul

doyler Posted April 23, 2016 Share #7 Posted April 23, 2016 Whats the buckle look like? Is the belt a Russian type rubberized canvas?
