Constabulary "C" DI or Lapel Pin?

Hello,

Can anyone give me any information on what this is? I know it's probably not Constabulary, but it's the best I can come up with right now. Thanks!!

In the A-J 1999 Trading Post, the late Jay Massaro ID'd this as a Constabulary DI based upon their nickname of "Circle C" Cowboys. The blue border and shape represent the circle, and the C in quotes represents the, well, duh, the "C".

 

He and I went back an forth, as I have yet to find any vet who had one of these. I have a patch that says "Circle C Cowboys" on it, but it has the lightning bolt. Errors have been made with cloth insignia, as well as with metal insignia.

 

So, I have reported, you decide.
