Could it be that those M3's were sent to the Chinese as part of the lend-lease agreement? (because of the white star on the turret)

M3A3 Stuart was what they received right? These are the real early ones, ones used by those two tank battalions, that White Star, maybe its a White Cherry Blossom???

See this model, got the Cherry Blossom on the turret.

A Captured Medical Halftrack, though it's actually was one used by the French, probably the French 1st Armored Division., maybe in the Black Forrest in 1945.

A Captured M3 Halftrack used by a unit of the 11th Panzer Division that has been modified to be a 'Stuka Zu Fuss" somewhere in Germany, I think March 45.

A Stuka Zu Fuss for those not aware of the type.

Salvage Sailor

There are more USN warships that were captured by the Japanese in 1941, raised, overhauled, and put into service with the IJN 1941-1945.

Unfortunately few photos survived as did few of the ex-USN vessels as they were blown apart and/or sunk by air & submarine attack.

USS Finch (AM-9) Minesweeper turned into patrol boat
USS Genesee (AT-55) Tug turned into patrol boat
USS Luzon (PG-47) China fleet gunboat
USS Robert L. Barnes USN Oiler
USS Stewart (DD-224) Asiatic fleet destroyer
USS Wake (PR-3) China fleet gunboat

Thanks for adding this information, as I learned something new.

I never knew ships would also exchange hands during war, besides weapons, vehicles and airplanes.

Your second image shows a T48 GMC (M3 with 57mm A/T Gun) initially made for the British but farmed off to the USSR as SU57 AFAIK none ever used operationally by the US or UK so that might be from the Eastern front
