kpl1 Posted April 15, 2016 Share #1 Posted April 15, 2016 Dear fellow collectors, Today I purchased this Serling wing together with some modern insignia. Is this one ww2 era or post ww2? Kind regards, J
Patchcollector Posted April 15, 2016 Share #2 Posted April 15, 2016 Looks WW2 to me.The flat faced clutches are usually associated with that time period.
tomcatter Posted April 16, 2016 Share #3 Posted April 16, 2016 AMICO went out of wings business shortly after the end of WWII, so all genuine AMICO items are WWII era or even before. This wing has "flat faced" clutchbacks, so it's from late WWII or so.
