Never lose sight of the fact that the most important yardstick of your success will be how you treat other people - your family, friends, and coworkers, and even strangers you meet along the way.

Ugh I am not going to make it to set up until Friday morning....just can't get anyone to watch the kids until Thursday night.

On the lookout for Pre-WWI Navy Uniforms

Good Show BC - and good to see tarbridge and a bunch of other forum members Friday morning. I brought along a local collector and his collector/nephew, who's from Michigan and arranged a business trip (a legitimate one) so he could be here for the show. Each had a laundry list of things for their collections and were pleased with what they bought at the show. It's a 180-mile round trip from my house but I'll guess tarbridge's 2,500+ round trip takes the prize. We had a smooth north bound drive through LA region Friday morning rains, something that can really muck up morning traffic, but no problems there (The trip home I took a wrong turn and got stuck in traffic at a crawl headed east).

But yeah, good show and worth a 180 miles round trip so if you haven't been there, check it out Saturday.

Man, honestly, Vintage Productions puts on a great show. In my opinion very organized and professional. It was my first (non local) major militaria show in 13 years and it was it was a lot of fun to see some old friends again and meet for the first time (in person) some great people like Robert Wilson, Mort Cohen, Dave Kaufman and Mason (above). I also managed to stay sober (for the most part) until 6:30 or so every day which was cool.

There was a lot to look at and most likely a little something for everybody.

I picked up a couple pieces of insignia, a photo and overseas cap. Was really happy with the few little items I found. Hope to go back again some day.

Suggest that all check it out if you can.
