It's a little tattered but wanted to share because it's a little different. Marked on bunting F. Vanderherchen Sons Philadelphia Penna.

That is interesting. Clearly meant to be flown as a flag, and not hang on a door or in a window. The design is not of any signal flag that I can find.

I think that one may be more of a "yacht flag" than a service flag.

I have seen pennant versions of the son in service flag, but this one having the white cross is a bit odd.

I was able to find an ad from 1911 that does show the Mfgr as a a boating supplies Mfgr.

 

It is a neat flag though, just not a service flag IMO.
