McDermut99 Posted March 31, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 31, 2016 I've had this plate on my wall for a few years now, and thought I would share. There quite a few of these plates out there, so it may not be valuable, but it's appealing to the eye. The plate reads: "Bevrijding van Maastricht Door de Amerikanen 14 Sept. 1944". The plates were made in Maastricht to commemorate their liberation by Allied forces in 1944. In the foreground is a severely damaged bridge over the Maas River.
