mikie Posted March 30, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 30, 2016 This patch came with a bundle of US military patches I picked up years ago. I have not been able to figure out what it is. Can anyone here identify it and determine what time period it is from? It is 2 1/2 inches square. The photo looks like it is greenish, but it actually looks black or very very dark blue. Thanks in advance for your help. Mikie

Background is a green gabardine material and is WW2 era. Not worth more than $5 as there are thousands of these.

RS95B Posted March 30, 2016 Share #5 Posted March 30, 2016 Those actually look like they are the bullion type overseas strips, generally worn on officers uniforms, as the back round color is that of an officers jacket. As JJack said each bar denotes 6 months overseas service.
