sigsaye Posted April 10, 2016 Share #5 Posted April 10, 2016 If you look at the bac, you see 2 loops. These were to pass a pin through to pin it to a shirt/ jacket. I do not recall ever seeing any US patches that were intended to be pinned in place. I've seen this system used on many "Asian" uniforms, including military, law enforcement and even in construction crews and ship yard workers ( the Japanese like every one in uniforms when they can).
