bryang Posted March 26, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 26, 2016 Fund this BDU jacket at a local surplus store. It has the Tennessee National Guard 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment unit of assignment patch, however the pocket patch was one I've not seen before. Understanding that National Guard has unique awards and ribbons, I have to assume that this is for a NCO leadership school. The patch has been hand-sewn on to the right breast pocket. Also of note is that this was a Warrant Officer - in my 28 years in the Army I've never seen anyone cut away the material from rank and sew it onto the collar. Again, the CWO2 rank and Warrant Officer eagle appear to have been hand-sewn to the collar.
